How to Stake GROVE
Connect a wallet and stake GROVE through the staking vault. Your staked balance provides governance voting power and can be managed from the staking page.
Stake GROVE in the Grove staking vault, then delegate your stGROVE voting power. Only delegated stGROVE accrues Seeds through the Seeds Program.

Stake GROVE and delegate your voting power to accrue Seeds. Connect your wallet to see your Seeds balance, accrual rate, and eligibility.

GROVE86.07M
GROVEstGROVE represents your staked GROVE. Only staked GROVE carries voting power in Grove governance.
Connect your wallet, open the Staking page, and click Stake. Enter an amount, choose a delegate (or none), review the transaction, then approve and stake. See the Staking Guide for a step-by-step walkthrough.
No. Every staked GROVE token carries voting power.
You can participate in two ways: delegate your voting power to one of the three delegates, who review proposals and vote on your behalf, or vote directly with your stGROVE on Grove's Snapshot page.
The initial delegates are DocGriffin, YvonPiPi, and northbridge. They were appointed following due diligence under the Sky Ecosystem's Delegation Framework. Their voting activity is publicly recorded on Snapshot.
No. Delegation always applies to your full staked balance.
Yes. Open the Staking page, click Manage, select the Delegate tab, and choose a different delegate.
No. Staking GROVE confers voting power and does not entitle holders to any payment, yield, or distribution. The only thing that accrues is Seeds, and Seeds have no monetary value.
Open the Staking page, click Manage, select Unstake, and enter the amount you wish to unstake. Unstaking may be partial.
Between two and four weeks. Unstaking operates on two-week epochs: a request becomes claimable when the epoch following the current one ends. After you submit your request, the Staking page displays the exact date and time your tokens become claimable.
No. Tokens lose voting power once an unstaking request is made. The unstaking period helps maintain voting stability during active governance cycles.
Yes. Staked GROVE is exposed to smart contract risk in the staking infrastructure it runs on. Review the applicable terms before staking.
Staking is powered by Symbiotic's staking contracts. Governance voting is conducted through Snapshot.
GROVE STAKING · stGROVE · SEEDS
Stake GROVE in the staking vault, delegate stGROVE voting power and track Seeds through the Grove App. Seeds are recorded for delegated stGROVE and represent governance participation rather than yield or a monetary reward.

Only delegated stGROVE accrues Seeds. Direct voting without delegation does not record Seeds, so delegation is required for participation in the Seeds Program.
Seeds are non-transferable records of Grove governance participation. The page states that Seeds have no monetary value and do not represent a payment, token claim or distribution.
Use Manage → Unstake to submit a partial or full unstaking request. The page states that the unstaking period is between two and four weeks based on two-week epochs.
Seeds are non-transferable records of participation in Grove governance. They are recorded daily for delegated stGROVE in accordance with the program's weighting methodology.
Seeds have no monetary value and do not represent or confer any claim, entitlement, or right to any token, distribution, payment, governance right, or other benefit.
No. Seeds are non-transferable and no market for them exists.
No. Seeds are recorded only for delegated stGROVE. Staked GROVE used for direct voting on Snapshot does not accrue Seeds.
Seeds are calculated using a weighted measure of governance participation. The program currently applies three cumulative weightings: Early Participation Weighting: A 3× weighting applies to Seeds accrued during the first 14 days of the program, recognizing early participation in Grove governance. Duration Weighting: Participation is weighted based on how long you have held GROVE, whether unstaked, staked, or delegated. The weighting is tracked per wallet, with the holding period measured from 6 July. Ecosystem Participation Weighting: A 1.5× weighting applies to GROVE received through Ecosystem Rewards that is subsequently staked and delegated. The weighting remains in effect while those tokens remain staked and resets if the wallet's GROVE or stGROVE balance decreases.
Yes. All applicable weightings are cumulative.
Removing your delegation stops Seeds from being recorded because delegation always applies to your full staked balance. If you partially unstake, Seeds continue to be recorded only for the portion that remains both staked and delegated.
No. Voting power is determined solely by your staked GROVE balance. Seeds are a separate, non-transferable record of governance participation and do not increase voting power or governance rights.
Your Seeds balance updates daily in the Grove App. Full program parameters are available in the documentation and Terms of Use.
